About Vinhomes Grand Park

Vinhomes Grand Park is a large scale township developed by Vingroup, fronting Nguyen Xien – Phuoc Thien road in Long Binh ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The development spans nearly 272 hectares and comprises 72 residential towers with more than 43,000 apartments, alongside low rise quarters of townhouses, villas and shophouses.

What sets the project apart is its ratio of open space. With a building density of only around 26 percent, the developer dedicated more than 60 percent of the total area to greenery, water bodies and shared amenities. At the heart of the township sits the 36 hectare Light Park, among the largest internal parks ever built within a residential development in Vietnam.

The site borders the Tac River and the Dong Nai River, giving it a landscape and microclimate advantage that is rare in the eastern part of Ho Chi Minh City. Coteccons served as the main contractor, working alongside Artelia Group on design.

The 067 Group scope of work

In December 2019, 067 Group was appointed to supply and install the outdoor fitness equipment and children’s play areas for the development, under a contract valued at 28 billion VND.

The scope covered:

• Outdoor fitness clusters positioned along the walking routes and throughout the internal parkland
• Age appropriate children’s playground equipment set within the landscaped areas between towers
• Steel framed tensile shade canopies over the open air training stations
• Installation, inspection and coordinated handover across the entire project area

Every item was specified for a hot and humid tropical climate: hot dip galvanised steel frames, UV resistant powder coating, corrosion protected fixings and child safe contact surfaces. These are non negotiable requirements for equipment that stays outdoors year round in southern Vietnam.
